Born Feb 22, 1943, in Chestertown, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Viola (Ball) Wescott.
Dena was the last of five siblings in her family.
Dena was a lifelong resident of the area and married Floyd L. Cleveland on June 20, 1959. Dena and her husband were longtime active members of the Calvary Bible Church in Wevertown and also the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Pottersville.
She enjoyed crocheting and collecting teddy bears.
Survivors besides her husband of 40 years include her four children, Lorraine Stanfield and her husband, Lewis of Louisiana; Douglas and his wife, Tammy of Johnsburg; Donald and his wife, Connie of north Creek; Dwight and his wife, Samantha of Johnsburg; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson to carry on her love; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her foster family, Clarence and Jean Bateman of Johnsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 PM Today, Sunday, at the Calvary Bible Church in Wevertown with the Rev. Wayne Schoonmaker, pastor and the Rev. Grant Smith, pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist church co officiating.
Burial will be in the Garnet Lake Wesleyan Cemetery, Johnsburg, Monday morning.
Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service today at the church.
