Kevin Lee Crockett, 42 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, October 2nd, 2014.

Kevin was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 30th, 1972, son of Kathryn Whittenberg Bond and the late Don Marcum. He was a member of Langdon Street Baptist Church.

Kevin was survived by his mother, Kathryn Whittenberg Bond of Somerset, Kentucky; his wife, Christy Randolph Crockett; one son, John Wesley Crockett of Georgia; two daughters, Rachel Michelle Crockett of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Kasey Lee Crockett of Somerset, Kentucky; one brother, David Wayne Crockett of Somerset, Kentucky; two sisters, Deborah (and Jeff) Farmer and Jane Rutherford, both of Somerset, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Marcum; and one brother, Timothy Allen Crockett.

Visitations were held after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial followed in the Somerset City Cemetery.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
