Shreveport, LA. Celebration of life services for Mrs. Edith Bell Sims, 75, aka "City" will be held Saturday October 4, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Stonewall M.B.C., 807 Eatman St., Bossier City, LA. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 pm Friday at Heavenly Gates Chapel. Interment will be Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Northwest La Veterans Cemetery at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Sims entered into eternal rest September 26, 2014 from a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years; Mack Sims, 2 daughters; Deborah Sims and Latona Sims-Pinesett, 1 son; Myron Sims, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, host of nieces, nephews and friends.
