DENICE, NOELLA L. (St.Germain),88, of New London Ave., passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Nicholas P. Denice. Born in Coventry, she was a daughter of the late Antone and Philomene (Boucher) St. Germain.
Noella was a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Valley. Noella and her husband, Nicholas owned and operated the former Quaker Lane Diner from 1950 to 1977. Also, Noella had been employed as a sales clerk at the former Tilden-Thurber and Lord's Jewelry stores. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was the mother of Mark A. Denice and James P. Denice both of West Warwick. Noella was the grandmother of Nicholas and Kimberly Denice; sister of Claire Martin of Coventry and the late Estelle D'Attore, Cecile Rouselle and Donald St.Germain. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with Her Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am in the R. A. IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to In-Sight, 43 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 1, Warwick, RI 02888 will be appreciated.
