BROTHER OF BLAIR MAN DIED IN OMAHA TUESDAY

Louis W. Halbert, a brother of Blair’s Clifford Halbert, died in an Omaha, Nebraska hospital last Tuesday, January 27th. Louis, who was 57 years of age, lived at 2449 Titus Avenue.

He is survived by his wife, Irene, 3 sons, Michael, of Lexington, Kentucky, David and Steven, both of Omaha. A daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Taylor lives in Lincoln.

The deceased has two brothers, Clifford, of Blair and Dale of Raymond, Nebraska. There are also two sisters, Bernice Halbert of Lincoln and Hortense Gordon, of Omaha.

Funeral services were held Friday with interment in Forrest Lawn Cemetery.

The Halbert family lived in Blair a number of years ago and all of the members are known to many old folks in Blair.
