Justin R. Good, age 21, of Toledo, Ohio passed away at The University of Michigan Motts Children Hospital on August 14, 2008. Justin was born May 29, 1987, to Robert and Leslie (Godwin) Good. Justin was a graduate of Northview High School of Sylvania, Ohio. Justin was an avid race fan and loved travelling with his father and their race team to the tracks. Justin also loved the family trips he took with his mother to Cedar Point and all of the water parks. He had named Great Wolf Lodge as "our family park". Justin also had a wonderful passion for music. He played the violin when he was younger, he stopped playing but never lost his love for music of all kinds. His favorite bands were Linkin Park and Metallica. Justin touched so many lives with his easy smile and his infectious laughter. Through all the years of Justin's illnesses and surgeries, Justin was always very positive and grateful for all that he had. He never dwelled on what was wrong and was never bitter for not being healthier. He accepted his life with thankfulness and grace. He was an inspiration to all that knew him. To know Justin, was to love him. Justin will be missed dearly by all that knew him and all the lives that were touched because of him. Justin is survived by his loving parents, Robert Good and Leslie Godwin-Pershing; his brothers, Bradley, Stephen, Andy, Michael and his sister, Victoria; his grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Good and Robert and Gloria Godwin; his aunts and uncles, Bob Au, Cathy (Joe) Kliener, Christy (Tony) Dietsch, Carla (Craig) Banasiak, Joe (Angie) Good, Mike Good, Matt (Denise) Good, Paul (Shannon) Godwin, Steve Godwin, Gina (Sean) Dearsman, Amy Godwin; cousins, Heather, Jeni and Ashley Au, Amanda and Salina, Mark and Erick Kleiner, Bryan, Stephanie, Aaron and Kevin Deitsch, Cory, Curtis and Cassidy Banasiak, Jaidan and Joey Good, Josh Good, Brandi, Brianna, Tanner and Jesse Godwin, Anna and Danny Godwin, Lucas and Molly Dearsman, Amber Godwin, Jannessa and Cj Bantigue. Justin was very close to his step family and loved them very much. He will be missed by his stepfather, Thomas Pershing; his grandparents, Robert and Jody Pershing; his aunts, Natalie (Ralph) Lee, Jennifer Pershing and Roxanna Foster; his cousins, Jeremy, Marissa, Zachariah, Amanda, Cassandra and Alexandria Lee. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 16, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the J. Jeffrey Fretti Funeral Home, 5045 W. Sylvania Ave. (Corey Rd.) 419-843-1117, where services will follow at 7:00 p.m.
