Marilyn June Warner, 65, died Friday morning, April 7, 2006 at Reid Hospital & Health Care Services in Richmond, where she had been a patient since March 24, 2006. She had been in failing health for the last two years.

She was born October 17, 1940 in Connersville, the daughter of Charles Phillip and Valeta Blanche Duncan Ariens. A lifelong resient of Connersville, she had attended the Saint Gabriel Schools.

Formerly employed at Visteon and their predecessors, she had worked for 30 years primarily in the Condenser Department, retiring on August 31, 2000.

She attended the Saint Gabriel Catholic Church during her childhood and was a member of the IUE-CWA Local #919 and had been a member of the VFW.

During her leisure time she enjoyed working on cross stitch, crotchet and needle point projects, solving cross word puzzles and shopping, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include: five children: Mary (Jack) Johnson, Monty (Patty) Wagner, Sylena (Diemer) Taylor, Clifford A. (Charlotte) Warner and Michael P, (Cherie) Warner, all of Connersville; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Irene Sudler of Connersville , Winnie (Ernest) Patterson of Falmouth and Joan (Wayne) Patterson of Laurel; and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a grandson: Brandon Lee McCowan; four brothers; a sister; and a step-brother.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Stanley J. Herber at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Saint Gabriel Church. Friends and family may visit from 4-8 PM on Monday at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home to the Fayette County Cancer Fund or to the Saint Gabriel Church.
