Henry A. Baldwin passed away Sunday September 28th 2014 at Randolph Health & Rehab

Funeral Service: 3:00pm, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church, 1017 Brewer Street, Asheboro, NC.

Visitation two hours prior to service at the church.

Mr. Henry Allen Baldwin fondly known as “Mick”, 76, of Asheboro, NC quietly and peacefully went home to his eternal resting place with the Lord on September 28, 2014. Henry was born on June 27, 1938 in Ellerbe, North Carolina, to Oleria Cornell of Philadelphia, PA. Henry was a graduate of Mineral Springs High School in June of 1954. He was later inducted in the United States Army. After returning to civilian life he worked as a Sales Representative for North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company in Winston Salem. He was employed by Eveready Batteries for over 34 years where he retired. Henry was a gentle and loving man; he had a love for baseball, bowling and was a Nascar Fan. Henry was a Past Master of Oakland Lodge #501 PHA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Cassidy, his nephews, Randy and Felix Terry, two uncles, three aunts, and one brother–in-law. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Oleria Cornell, Philadelphia, PA; brother, Lionell Baldwin, Philadelphia, PA, Sister; Emma Terry, High Point, NC, long time companion, Dossie S. Walden, Asheboro, NC, aunt, Ledonia Ingram, Rockingham, NC; niece, Diane Ford, High Point,NC; six nephews, Derrick Ritter, Virginia Beach, VA, James (Harold) Baldwin, Dennis Terry, Donald (Anita) Terry, Sandy (Zondre’e) Terry, all of High Point, NC, Thurman Bernard (Bennie)(LaShica) Cassidy, Virginia Beach. VA; Two adopted children Lisa Walden–Cheek, Timothy Walden both of Asheboro, NC. Three adopted grandchildren and one adopted great-grandchild of Asheboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
