Norma Jean Mann, 81, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:50 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at her residence. Born November 5, 1932 in Kokomo, she is the daughter of the late Thomas Dayton Fletcher and Iva May (Baker) Fletcher. She was a 1951 graduate of Kokomo High School. On October 14, 1951 in Kokomo, she married Delbert L. Mann, and he surives. She was a tax preparer for 34 years, retiring April 15, 1994. She was an 18 year member of Southside Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Delbert L. Mann of Kokomo; two sons William Timothy Mann of Kokomo, Roy P. Mann of Macy, IN; one daughter Mary Creason of Kokomo; two sisters Thelma Arlene McNally of Carlson, FL, Edna May Canard of Kokomo; two grandchildren Timothy and Trisha; also several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters, one son-in-law, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 3, 2014 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Steve Kelley will officiate. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to Bona vista with envelopes available at the mortuary.
