He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Courtney Anne Lea; one son, Stephen Douglas Lea; his father, James Gregg Lea and his wife, Jan N. Lea; one sister, Mary Britt Lea Brown; one brother, Terrence Ahearn; his former spouse and mother of his children, Debra Terrell Lea; and his beloved companion, Wanda Stonicher.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Anne Whitaker Lea; his step-father, Donald P. Ahearn; his step-mother, Freeda J. Lea; and his grandparents.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Mr. Lea was a loving father, brother, son and friend to all who knew him. He worked as a Corporate Pilot for over 22 years, and also worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. Mr. Lea was involved with the Cajun Wing of Confederate Air Force. He loved camping, collecting antiques and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mr. Lea will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
