HUFF, Linda (Roode) 68, formerly of Erlanger, KY and Kettering, OH passed away Monday August 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by parents Melvin and Mildred Roode. Linda is survived by sons David Huff Jr.; Scott (Missy) Huff; daughter Amy (Dan) Pitzer; two sisters Carol (Jim) Judge; Vicki (Ron) Stewart; ten grandchildren; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda attended Fairmont High School and Valparaiso University. She was Vice President of Leasing at Society Bank and Key Bank in Cleveland and Albany, NY. Until her illness, she was Director of Education and Training at Kentucky Community Action Commission. Her final gift was the donation of her body to Boonshoft School of Medicine Wright State University. Memorial service will be Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Oakwood. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice of Dayton, who provided loving care and comfort to Linda and her family during her last days.
