Velma Eleanor Hahn Cook, 75, of West Lafayette, died at 9:40 AM Friday, April 14, 1995, in the Otterbein Healthcare Center, where he had been a patient two months. Born Sept. 30, 1916, in Lafayette, she was a lifelong resident of Tippecanoe County. She married Steve A. Cook on March 14, 1934, in Plymouth, IN, and he died May 20, 1985.

A homemaker, Mrs. Cook was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Chuch, Rebekah Lodge, Royal Neighbors of America, High Note Organ Society, and the Grange.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan Rusk of West Lafayette; two sisters, Evelyn Canavest of Fontana, CA, and Mary Eileen Hillenbrand of Indianapolis; a grandson, Gregory Rusk; also a great-grandson.
