He was a member of Calvary Moravian Curch, Allentown, where he was an elder, treasurer for 15 years and Sunday School superintendent. He was a former elder at St. James United Church of Christ, Allentown.
He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County for 12 years.
Survivors: Wife; sister, Agnes Snyder of Allentown; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a son Charles.
