Aged 94. Educationalist. Wife of the late Bertold Beitz, legendary head of the Krupp company, to whom she was married more than 70 years. She and her husband in 1941 saved hundreds of Jews on the Poland-Ukraine border from deportation to concentration camps. They were distinguished with the award "Gerechte under den Völkern" in 2006.
