MARKHAM - Funeral services for Prince "Rusty" Edwards Jr., 64, of Markham, will be Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Mt. Zion Penecostal COGIC in Markham with Bishop Fred Jones Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow immediately after the service at Markham Cemetery.
Viewing will be Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Green's Mortuary.

Prince Edwards, Jr.
Prince Edwards, Jr. "Rusty," the son of Prince Edwards, Sr. and Priscilla Evans Edwards was born in West Columbia, Texas, on Monday, September 30, 1946.
"Rusty," as he was lovingly addressed by his family, friends and neighbors, grew up in West Columbia and attended Charlie Brown School. He was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys!!
He attended Bethel Baptist Church in West Columbia, and was baptized at an early age by Pastor D. T. Thomas. He was employed at McMillan Fertilizer Plant in El Maton, Texas.
On Thursday, August 11, 2011, he answered the call from our heavenly father to come home and be at rest. He was met at heaven's gate by his parents, Prince Edwards, Sr. and Priscilla Edwards; brothers, Leon Edwards and Steve Edwards; grandmothers, Lucille Evans and Sally Banks; and grandfathers, Monday Evans and Richard Edwards.
He leaves to mourn, a wife of forty-two years, Dorothy Edwards, three sons, John Foley of Houston, Thomas Baugh of Wadsworth and Robert Hill of Markham; five daughters, Lottie Carter (Will) of Killeen, Noria Mitchell of Wharton, Jessie Baugh, Nona Blackmon, both of Bay City, Theresa O'Neal (Elijah) of Markham; five sisters, Rosie Wiley (Elijah), Juanita Robertson (Harold), Mattie Humphrey (Amos); Dorothy Edwards (John) and Bessie Edwards; one brother, Charlie Barnes (Almetra); three brothers-in-law, Gary and Willie Woodbury and Alfred Blackmon; two sisters-in-law, Adell Young and Elzara Woodbury; one uncle, John Joiner; three aunts, Arthryne Joiner, Janette Beverly and Katherine Joiner; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and one special buddy, Sister Carla Williams.
