HYNDMAN, Pa. — James “Jimmy” E. Deneen Jr., 36, of Hyndman, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014.
Born Oct. 10, 1977, in Shreveport, La.; he was a son of James E. Deneen Sr. and Cindy (Troutman) Como. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Deneen and Ray Troutmanl a cousin April Deneen who was like a sister.
He is survived by his father, James Deneen Sr. of Bedford; mother Cindy Como and husband Herb of Martinsville, Va.; children, Eli and Allison Deneen of Fairhope; brothers, Todd Deneen of Normalville, Kyle and Landon Deneen of Bedford; grandmothers, Helene Deneen of Hyndman, Jo Ellen Troutman of Wellersburg; aunts and uncles, Nancy Glotfelty and husband Curt of Berlin, Carolyn Ansell and husband Red of Hyndman, Patty Grose and husband Bill Jr. of Johnstown, Debra Parker and husband Tom of Cedar Grove N.C.; Raymond Deneen and wife Cindy (Smith) of LaVale, Susan Troutman of Wellersburg; many cousin and his faithful dog, Cleo.
Jimmy was a loving father to his children. He worked as a conductor for CSX Railroad for 8 years. He was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a race fan. He loved Dirt track and NASCAR.
He was also a faithful member of the Tristate Ministry Center.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Tri-State Ministry Center, 232 Hyndman Rd, Hyndman, where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stevie Leydig officiating.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.
