SIDNEY - Mrs. Marion G.
Stoesser, 44, had been a regis-
tered nurse in The Hospital,
Sidney, and had been a resi-
dent in the Sidney area for 28
years. She was a Red Cross
nursing instructor, and was a
graduate of St. Joseph's Hos-
pital, Paterson, N.J.
She died Sunday in The Hos-
pital, Sidney, following a short
illness.
Funeral services will be at
2 p.m. Thurday in C.H. Lan-
ders Chapel, Sidney, with the
Rev. Roger B. Glazier, pastor
of Sidney Methodist Church,
officiating. Cremation will take
place in Waterville. Friends may
call at the chapel from 7 to 9
p.m. tomorrow.
Mrs. Stoesser was born Nov.
27, 1911, in Long Eddy, daugh-
ter of Charles H. and Gertrude
(Abbott) Gould. She was mar-
ried to Fernando Stoesser.
She is survived by her hus-
band, one son, David A. Stoes-
ser, U.S. Army, Hawaii; her
father, Charles H. Gould, Star
Route, Sidney; one brother,
Donald P. Gould, Delhi; and
two nephews, one niece, and
one cousin.
