Carl D. Vincent, age 58, of Keota, died Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.
Carl was born March 16, 1956, in Washington, Iowa, to Dale and Phyllis (George) Vincent and graduated from Keota High School in 1974. He then attended Kirkwood Community College before enlisting in the United States Air Forcein 1975. Carl served as a mechanic, working on B-52 bombers until his discharge in 1979. Carl worked for different tool and die makers until1994, when he became a mechanic for Burlington Northern Santa Fe. He enjoyed classic autos, collecting unique and trading antique tractors, guns, railroad memorbilia, auctions, collecting uniqueitems and working with his friends in the garage.
