She was born Aug. 3, 1960, in Meadville, to Robert E. Wheeler and the late Lucille B. Calvin Wheeler.
She was employed by Pine Industries in Grove City and previously worked for Andover Industries and the Valley Freeze in Conneautville. She was of Protestant faith.
She loved her family and being with them. She not only assumed the role of matriarch following the death of her mother, she embraced it. She loved planning and preparing meals for all the family events and holiday gatherings. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, “girls night” out, Black Friday shopping and bowling. She loved camping with her family and friends, but most of all she loved her “Soul Mate” Gary Eddy. While on Gary’s trap shooting events she was always his gun bearer, and she was known by all of his fellow shooters with a great deal of respect. He survives.
In addition to her “soul mate” and father, Kelly is survived by four sisters, Kathryn Griffin of Utica, Karen Hayes and her husband, John, of Ft. Myers, Fla., Karla Wheeler of Conneautville, and Kara Wood and her husband, Rodney, of Conneautville; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother; her brother, Keith; and a niece, Jodie Payne.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. at White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St. Conneautville (587-2303). Pastor Loren Little will be officiating. Interment will be private in Spring Cemetery.
