Ray L. Lewis, born April 11, 1925, passed away Oct. 21, 1999 after a long illness.

Survived by a loving family: wife, Maureen; son, Jack R. Lewis; daughters, Kay Lewis and Sally Lewis Ferrin (Alan); grandchildren, Tysone, Audrey, Mark, and Brian; brother, Jack M. Lewis (Carol) of Riverside, CA; and sister, Margie Butterfield (Larry) of Riverton. Preceding him in death are his parents, five sisters and one brother.

Ray was a retired United Airline pilot, and a long-time resident of Thousand Oaks, CA, before relocating to Millcreek, WA in 1993. He grew up in Soldier Summit, UT, graduating from Wasatch Academy and Brigham Young University. He was a pilot in the U.S. Navy and USAF. He was a devoted husband and father whose death will leave a void for all who knew him.

A memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Tilbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Assoc. or their local chapter.
