Funeral services for Vicki Lynn Gibson, 64,Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2014, First United Methodist Church Quitman with Bro. Fred Morrow and Dr. Dick White officiating. Burial will follow at the Golden City Cemetery, Golden. Family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, September 30th at Lowe Funeral Home Quitman.

Vicki was born August 16, 1950 in Camden, Ark. to Kirby Allen and Dollie Floyd Martin and passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at ETMC in Tyler. She married Kent Gibson on July 7, l972 in Mount Pleasant. They lived in Tyler, Hughes Springs, and Pittsburg before mving to Quitman in l984. Her marriage was blessed with two wonderful sons, whom she adored. Vicki was a member of First United Methodist Church, Quitman. She retired from Wood County Adult Probation Office in 2010. She loved to scrapbook and make cards with her friends. She enjoyed the time spent with her precious grandsons and loved cooking for those she know. "Meme" was always caring, loving, and putting others before herself. She left us with beautiful memories and will be missed by everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Judy Cooper.
