Suzanne C. Kuehner fell asleep in the arms of her loving husband, Karl, and woke up in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on February 28, 2009. Suzanne was born August 22, 1939, in Oak Park, Illinois, to Herbert E. and Virginia Cobb. She grew up in Winnetka Illinois where she graduated from New Trier High School in 1957 and received her B.S. in English from Iowa State University in 1962. Sue married Karl Kuehner July 13, 1963, in Elgin, Illinois. They moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1965 and Loveland, Colorado in 1966 where their first daughter was born. They then moved to Brighton, CO in 1968 where their other children were born. They moved to Berthoud, Colorado in 2001. Sue loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and her main desire was to bring Him glory and introduce Him to those around her. Sue was active in Child Evangelism Fellowship (for 25 years), AWANA, Bible Study Fellowship, and 4-H. She was happy teaching women or children. Her free time was spent with family in the mountains or cheering for her children and grandchildren at their many events. She loved life and fought hard to keep it. She is survived by her husband, two sisters and a brother-in-law, two brothers and a sister-in-law, two daughters and sons-in-law, one son and daughter-in-law, and eight grandchildren [survivors names omitted]. She was preceeded in death by her parents Herbert E. and Virginia Cobb, and daughter Deborah Kuehner. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, March 6, 2009 at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Longmont. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Berthoud.
