AMORY – James Anthony Rollins, 39, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. He was born Dec. 25, 1969, in Amory to James Thomas and Barbara Jean Turner Rollins. He was a 1988 graduate of Amory High School and had been employed by Amory Garment and Himolene in Verona before becoming disabled. He was a member of the Cason Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, singing, riding four-wheelers and his dog, Bubba.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with Bro. Shane Crawford and Bro. Sammy McMillen officiating. Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park.

Survivors include his parents, James and Barbara Rollins of Amory; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Turner and Thomas Rollins; and his grandmothers, Lera Turner and Myrtle Weaver.

Pallbearers will be Brent Swan, Andy Hood, David Robinson, Mike Reeves, Bart Brown, Chris Randolph, Steve Horn, Bucky Hester, Jason Culver, Tim Underwood, Jason Whitaker and Ronnie Colburn.

Visitation will continue until service time today at the funeral home.
