Katherine Geraldine Sharp, age 84, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Joe Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Robertson County Memorial Gardens with Jeffery Darrell Sharp, Eddie Newman, Jimmy Edwards, Mike Pentecost, Donald Cooper and Kenny Cooper serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10am until the hour of service. Mrs. Sharp was born November 18, 1926 in Robertson County to the late Melvin and Ruby Beal Goodwin. She was a homemaker and member of the Barren Plains Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Franklin Sharp; brother, Billy Curtis Goodwin; sister, Elnora Sharp; grandson, Dustin West; great-grandson, Kyle Branham; and granddaughters, Pamela Branham and Tammy Kay Johnson. Mrs. Sharp is survived by her sons, Henry Darrell (Brenda) Sharp of Springfield and Wesley Sharp; daughters, Kathy (Mike) Pentecost of Springfield, Yvonne (Eddie Newman) Earls of Russellville and Gwen West; brothers, Harold Wayne Goodwin of Springfield, Jerry Goodwin of Adairville and Roger Goodwin of Springfield; sister, Peggy Janecek of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren, Jeffery Darrell Sharp, Candy Elliott, Josh Johnson, Chasity Edwards, Will Evans and Brittany West; great-grandchildren, Jade Dixon, Dalton Branham, Dillon Branham, Cody Elliott, Nolan Elliott, Danika Johnson, Darian Johnson, Caitlin Harper and Paige Baldwin.
