James "Jim" Howard Treece Sr., 67, of Huntsville died Wednesday. He married Linda King on June 21, 1958 and was retired from Flowers Bakery. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Allen Treece; father, Howard Treece; brother, Leo Treece; niece, Tina Hyatt; brother-in-law, Ray Harris; and mother-in-law, Lillian Lay King. Survivors include his wife, Linda King Treece; son, James Howard Treeced Jr.; daughters, Rene and Steve Slone and Renata and Anthony Libhart; mother, Ethel Treece; four sisters, Viola Harris, Marie Hyatt, Bonnie Campbell and Emma Anderson; one brother, Allen Treece; four grandchildren, Michael, Brett and Laycie Slone, and J.T. Lewis; stepgrandchildren, David, Ashley and Heather Libhart; sisterin-laws, Juanita King Lang and Ramona King Payne; brother-in-law, Boyd R. King Jr.; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews; and a host of friends.
