The death of Walter Ungerecht occurred Friday, January 17 [1975] at his home in Northome.

Ungerecht was born February 3, 1906 at Wales, Wisconsin and was married to Agnes Bean, June 28, 1936 at Pasco, Washington. They made their home in Oregon and came to Bridgie Township near Northome in 1941. In 1950, the moved to North Dakota and returned to Bridgie Township in 1956.

The deceased was a farmer. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Kelliher and an elder of the church for many years. He also served many years as a fire warden.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, John and Kenneth of Northome and Gerald of Dodge City, Kansas; two daughters, Bonnie (Mrs. Robert Neff) of Northome and Joan (Mrs. David Thralow) of St. Joseph; four brothers, John of Pasco, Washington, Carl and Paul of Glen Ullin, North Dakota and Albert of Detroit Lakes; a sister, Emma (Mrs. Joe Piepsch) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
