Rodger A. Abrahamson, 93, West Fargo, North Dakota, died on Sept. 26, 2014 at Villa Maria Care Center, Fargo, North Dakota.

Rodger Arnold Abrahamson was born September 1, 1921 at Tokio, North Dakota to Charlie and Anna (Asfelt) Abrahamson. He grew up and attended 11 years of school at Tokio. On November 17, 1945 he married Frances Deegan and they had eight children:
Rodney, Donnis, Kay, Bonnie, Susan, Pam, Beth, and Linda. In Tokio, Rodger worked as an Elevator Manager and then at Kraft Foods in Fargo. He retired in 1983 and continued working with the Forum for a total of 27 years delivering newspapers 7 days a week to the newspaper carriers, until age 81.

Rodger was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances; a granddaughter, Debra Jo Adams; siblings, Charles, Harold, Willie, Lorrane, LaVerne and Marvin.
