Sandra Leticia Ayala Welch, 56, of Fishers, passed away September 26, 2014. She was born January 8, 1958 to the late Fernando V. and Juanita Rivera Ayala in Laredo, Texas and grew up in Lake Station, Indiana.

Sandra married Bob on September, 9, 1978 and raised their family in Indianapolis. Sandra enjoyed music, dancing, planting flowers, going to the beach, laughter and spending time with her family. Sandra was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Robert B. Welch; son, Christopher R. Welch; daughter, Melinda B.(Michael) Kurrus; sisters, Grace (Tom) Luellman, Yollie Morgan, Cynthia (Matt) Timpe; brothers, George (Linh) Ayala, Richard (Myrna) Ayala, Armando (Pam) Ayala, Al (Sandee) Ayala; sister-in-law, Debbie Ayala; grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Ayala and mother in law, Phyllis M. Welch.
