WEIBLE – Thomas J., 80, 324 Orchard St., died Feb 19, 1980 at home. Born Feb. 16, 1900, in Johnstown, son of John J. and Sophia (Thomas) Weible. Preceded in death by parents, first wife, Helen Matthews, and stepsister, Mrs. Ada Anderson. Survived by second wife, former Alma D. Deutsch and stepsons: Bill MacCurdy, and wife, Veronica, Pittsburgh, and Joseph MacCurdy, and wife, Beatrice, Gallion, Ohio. Retired from purchasing department of Penelec. Member of Johnstown Lodge 538, F. & A.M.; Portage Royal Arch Chapter 195; Cambria Council 32, Pittsburgh Consistory; Jaffa Temple; and Oriental Commandry 61 Knights Templar. Veteran of World War I. Also member of Post 294 American Legion; Phi Mu Delta, and Johnstown Lion’s Club. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc., where service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Gordon. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
