John Glen McKellar, 28, died Sept. 19, 1991, in Provo.
He was born March 10, 1963, in Salt Lake City to John Glen and Janis Wood McKellar. He married Diane Dinsdalel in Provo Jan. 1, 1983.
He was a member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities particularly Scouting programs. He was an A Eagle scoout and served as a camp counselor at Maple Dell Scout Camp for a number of years. He liked spending time in the mountains and worked for the Utah County Parks as a ranger until an injury prevented him from continuing in that position. For over six years he struggled with a debilitating back injury.
Survivors include his wife, parents, two brothers, Gary Mark of Salt Lake City and Jeffrey Scott of Provo.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the in the LDS 37th Ward Chapel, 200 S. 100 East, Provo. Friends may call tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center in Provo or at the chapel on Monday from noon to 12:45 p.m.
Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Hills in Provo.
