Donald was born in Tampa, Florida and attended George Chamberlain Senior High School, graduating in 1970. He would go on to earn a Masters Degree in Special Education at the University of South Florida Tampa. Donald would then go on to a career in data processing and telecommunications.
A Quaker memorial service was held on September 20, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Freeland, Washington.
