Lois G. McCluskey Curran left us for her heavenly home Friday, Sept. 19, 2014. She was born Aug. 8, 1921, to Art and Hazel Gravenstein of Grundy Center, Iowa.

She married John McCluskey, raising a son and daughter, Kathy and Mike. John succumbed to cancer at age 69, and she was fortunate to find a second love in Henry Curran, a longtime family friend. They enjoyed life together for the last 14 years of her life.

Lois is survived by her husband Henry Curran; son, Michael McCluskey; daughter-in-law, Deborah; three grandchildren, Katherine Knabel, Megan Mulder and Mark Harvey; and three great-grandchildren, Emma and Sadie Mulder, and Kayla Harvey.

Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Harvey, and her husband John McCluskey.

Lois will rest in peace in Grundy Center, Iowa.
