EDNEYVILLE - Lonnie Jay Freeman, 54, of Edneyville, Died Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Four Seasons Elizabeth House. He is preceded in death by his father, Jay Harper Freeman as well as his one brother Donnie Freeman.

Jay was a native of Henderson County and attended Edneyville High School. After high school, he built a career working in construction. When he was not working, he liked to fish, hunt and be outdoors, but more than anything else, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Jay is survived by his loving wife, Linda Freeman of Edneyville, as well as hi loving mother, Catherine VestieBradburn also of Edneyville, one brother: Michael Stanley Freeman, one sister: Rose Ann Freeman Lyda and her husband Abe, all of Edneyville. He is also survived by two special brothers-in-law, Gary and Larry Thompson and one special sister-in-law, Marilyn Staton, a very special cousin, Joy Rhodes, and special friend, Willie Stepp; as well as numerous other family members.

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 29, 2014 at St Paul's Community Cemetery in Edneyville, with Chaplin Steve Jones officiating.

Flowers are appreciated, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OD 73123-1718.
