TOMASCHYK MICHAEL D. TOMASCHYK, age 59, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011. He was born in Cleveland on June 19, 1952 to Marie and Michael Tomaschyk (both deceased). Michael held several university degrees, including a Ph.D. in Speech Communication and Business Administration that he earned from Case Western Reserve University in 1979. He was employed by Cuyahoga Community College as a marketing and recruitment specialist and an adjunct professor of speech at their Western Campus; he also devoted many years of service to the community as a board member of the Brunswick Area Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his dear aunt, Evelyn Suzich, and many cousins throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. He had indelible impact on countless people, including his many friends, coworkers at Tri-C as well as on the innumerable students he mentored over the years.
