STILES, Larry A. age 67 of Waynesville passed away Fri. Sept. 26, 2014.

Larry graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1965. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Marietta College in 1969 and a Master's and advanced work at WSU. A teacher, administrator, and coach at Kettering City Schools, he retired in 1999 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Ohio Educational Assoc., National Educational Assoc., and the Waynesville SAL Post 615. An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, he greatly enjoyed scuba diving, traveling, watching his grandchildren's sports, and spending time with his Florida friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Betty Stiles.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandy; son Robert (Janell) Stiles of Atlanta; daughter Nicole (Brian) Burger of Lebanon; five grandchildren Nicholas, Addison, Braden, Kaitlyn, and Hailey; and one sister Teresa (Charles) Phillips.

The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tues. Sept. 30 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Graveside services 10 AM Wed. at Middle Run Cemetery with Andy Carney officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Science Center and Outdoor Classroom at Bowman Primary School c/o Lebanon City Schools. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
