KENOSHA, Wis. - Edith Marie Griggs Broughman, 71, died Saturday, May 19, 2001, at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center in Kenosha, Wis. She was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Nettleton. She was a graduate of Wren High School. She married Curtis D. "Nick" Broughham in 1953; he died in 1967. She had lived in Kenosha since 1953. She was an employee of American Motors in Kenosha for 29 years. She was a Baptist. she enjoyed traveling.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Pickle Funeral Home in Amory with Gregg Worthey officiating. Burial will be in the Haughton Memorial Park in Amory.

Survivors include one son, Steve Broughman and his wife, Lori, of Kenosha, Wis.; two brothers, J.T. Griggs of Wren and Bryant "Buddy" Griggs of Okolalona; two sisters, Laura Worthey of Nettleton and Laverne Ritter of Amory; three grandchildren, Sabrina Broughman, shelly Biddle and Mike Biddle.

She was preced in death by her husband; her parents, robert Bryant Griggs and Gertrude Webb Griggs; a brother, Harold Griggs; and a stister, Delonne Thompson.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Worthey, Pete Worthey, Bobby Griggs, Ricky Griggs, Mike Ritter and Scott Laney.
