Claude is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice Anderson Watson. He graduated from Martinsburg (WV) High School in 1958. He was a veteran of the U S Marine Corps, and later was a police officer with the Martinsburg Police Department. He retired from Schmidt Baking Company as district sales manager, and later retired from Martin's Food Market gas station. He was a member of St Luke's United Methodist Church for over 60 years.
