Boyd Ray Blount, 92, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at his home in Walker, LA.
He served and defended our country in The United States Coast Guard.
Boyd loved gardening with his tractor and working in the yard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be at Revival Temple, on Monday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. until service at 12:30 p.m., officiated by Rev. Louis Harrell. Burial will be at Blount Cemetery, near Colyell, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
