Mr. Kevin Delon Helms, 54 of 1950 Ava Road, Autryville, died on Friday, September 19, 2014 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Roseboro Cemetery.

Mr. Helms was born on June 8, 1960 and was a native of Cumberland County. He is preceded in death by one sister, Debra Jean Helms; and one brother, Marvin Helms. He was a Veteran of the National Guard and worked with DAK Americas Cedar Creek Plant.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Helms of the home; one son, Kevin Helms, Jr. and wife, Beckie of Autryville; one daughter, Amanda Leigh Brown and husband, Jarrod of Hope Mills; three grandchildren, Eithan, Valen and Piper; his father, Norman Helms, Sr. of Fayetteville; his mother, Marie Dowdy Helms of Salemburg; and four siblings, Norman Helms, Jr. of Smithfield, Martha Tucker of Kitty Hawk, Susan Aldana of Arizona and Ronald Helms of Roseboro.
