Rosetta Bishop, 95, of the 200 block of Elm Ave., died May 29, 1991, in a hospital. Mrs. Bishop, a native of Bertie County, N.C., was the widow of Nuttis Bishop. She was a member of Fourth Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Barrett, and a son, Thomas Bishop, both of Portsmouth; and a brother, Lloyd Bishop of Reidville, S.C.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fourth Baptist Church by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. today in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
