Michael, 50, of St. Johns, MI. died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing, MI.
A Celebration of Life was held at Bechantel's Banquet Center, St. Johns, MI, on Saturday, October 4, 2014.
Mike was the son of Michael Louis and Lavonda May (Lathrop) Pohl. He married Melanie Wilson on June 4, 1982 in St. Johns, MI.
Mike was a lifelong resident of St. Johns. He was a mechanic and jack of all trades. He loved his garden, his lawn tractors, watching western movies, and music. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, and his dogs Red and Junior. Mike enjoyed being outside, and was an avid U of M Football fan.
He is survived by his wife Melanie Pohl of St. Johns, MI, daughter Tamara Pohl and Paul Roberts of St. Johns, MI, son Michael Louis Pohl of St. Johns, MI, mother Bonnie Pohl of St. Johns, MI, sister Kelly Alexander of St. Johns, MI, brother Joseph and Jessica Pohl of St. Johns, MI, sister Jamie Pohl-Litwiller of Flushing, MI, several nieces, nephews, mother in law Nancy L. Hufnagel and other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, infant son Arthur, and his best friend Buck.
