KENLY, N.C. - Mr. Anthony George "Tony" Booker, 51, of Kenly, N.C., formerly of Lanett, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Rocky Mountain, N.C. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with Brother Marvin Daniel officiating and Willie Charles Jefferson making remarks. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 2 until 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home in Valley.
Mr. Booker is survived by his wife, Sarah D. Booker; his mother, Dorothy G. Booker; daughter, Monisha Whitfield; sisters, LaSonja G. Williams, LaRhonda B. Davis, Traci H. Booker and Allyson B. Jones; a brother, Erick Booker; nieces, LaShanna Williams and Kourtnee Z. Booker; nephews, Christopher Jones, Jamar Jones, Brodrick Jones and Zekiah Dunn; aunts, Allene Booker (favorite), Mae Griggs, Annie Hall, Emma S. Houston, Linda Booker, Maxine Avery, Mary Strickland and Martha Strickland; uncles, Zackery Booker, Jimmy Strickland and Jerry Booker; a special friend, Kim Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
