Phyllis Gillespie Meredith, age 58, of
Overland Drive died Saturday, January 18, 1992, in Montgomery Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bertie P. Gillespie.
Surviving are her husband, William D. (Bill) Meredith; two daughters and a
son-in-law, Reyonda Saunders, Connie and Billy Saunders; two sons, Danny
Meredith, David Meredith; a granddaughter, Kristy Meredith; two grandsons, Chris
Meredith, Derek Saunders, all of Christiansburg; four brothers, Garfield
Gillespie, Harold Gillespie, both of Montrose, Colo.; Jim Gillespie, Herbert
Gillespie, both of Christiansburg; three sisters, Joyce Bowen, Huntington, Md.;
Janet Meredith, Newport, Va.; Freda Quesenberry, Gulfport, Miss.; and many
special friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday from the Belview
United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Larry Mann and the Rev. Jack
Perdue with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends
from 7:00 until 9:00 Monday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral
Home.
