KAYSVILLE--JAMES Kenneth Pace, 74, died Thursday, November 21, 1996 at his home in Kaysville of cancer.

He was born June 1, 1922 to Willard and Martha Layton Pace in Miami, Arizona. He married Maxine Foster June 9, 1942 in the Mesa, Arizona Temple of the LDS Church. He lived in Safford, Arizona, Riverside, California and for the past 25 years in Kaysville, Utah.

He enlisted in the Air Force in 1942, and served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy during World War II. He worked as a farmer and rancher in Arizona, as a farm equipment sales manager in California and as a real estate broker in both California and in Utah. For several years, he owned and operated a jewelry store in Riverside, California.

He was a life-long member of the LDS Church and served in many positions as a teacher and administrator.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Janet Pace, Salt Lake city; a brother and two sisters, Scott of Safford, AZ; Ruth P. Reinemund, Phoenix, AZ; and Kathleen Awalt, Prescott, AZ.

Family graveside services will be Monday, November 25, 1996, at 11 a.m., Kaysville City Cemetery. Directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary.
