Teresa Kay Wood, daughter of Thelma Liske Wood and the late Arthur E. Wood, Jr, was born April 18, 1962 in Moses Lake, Washington. She departed this life September 23, 2014 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 52 years, 5 months 5 days. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend. At the time of her death she was a volunteer at The Friendship Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by her mother: Thelma Wood of Calico Rock; one sister and brother-in-law: Lynn and Paul Brown of Mountain View; three brothers: David Wood of Calico Rock, Jeffrey Wood of Tampa, Florida and Tony Wood of Calico Rock; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister: Juanita Joy Wood.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be Monday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Calico Rock Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Wayne Wood officiating.
Burial will be at Wideman Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
