David D. Caudle, age 54, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 25, 2014, at his home. Born June 17, 1960, in Richmond, to William F. and Juanita Lee Bostick Caudle, David was a life-long resident of Richmond. He was a 1978 graduate of Richmond High School and attended Indiana University and Indiana University East. David worked for the City of Richmond and the State Highway Department. He enjoyed watching sports, cooking, antiquing, and spending time with his family, friends, and cat, Smokie. Survivors include his father; sisters, Janet Caudle, Laura Caudle, and Kristy (Gary) Sheets, all of Lynn, Indiana; sister-in-law, Madora Caudle of Lynn, Indiana; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends, including Rick Smith. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Nancy Jo Caudle; and brother, Michael William Caudle. Visitation for David D. Caudle will be from 2 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Webb officiating.
