Mrs. Lillian Luker Foster, 84, of West Point died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point with the Rev. Kenneth Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point.

Mrs. Foster is survived by two sons, Billy (Faye) Foster of Pine Mountain, Ga., and Merrell (Dianne) Foster of Lanett; her sister, Mae Dean Smith of West Point; two brothers, Barron Luker of Lineville, Ala., and Luna Luker of Prattville, Ala.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Born June 24, 1918 in Clay County, Ala., Mrs. Foster was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in West Point. She was a homemaker and had been active in her church. She loved her grandchildren very much. Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Foster. She was the daughter of the late Maebell Morrison Luker and Young Luker.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 8 from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point.
