Judith "Judy" R. Pedro, 74, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday at her home. Judy was born on October 9, 1939 in Bloomington; she was the daughter of Benjamin and Effie (Warner) Barrick.

Judy graduated from B.H.S in 1957. She spent several years in bookkeeping and social work, working for Pathfinders Services and the former Curry Bookstore (TIS). Judy was a member of the New Life United Pentecostal Church in Harrodsburg. Judy was a pastor's wife and spent almost 40 years with her husband Neal in pastoral ministries located in Vincennes, Bristow and Elwood, Indiana. She was an avid fundraiser for church and numerous charities including youth activities. Judy and her sister Melissa raised over $30,000 selling their homemade peanut brittle for the church building fund. Judy grew up attending the Pentecostal Faith Assembly at the corner of 11th and Adams; she was the former financial Sunday school secretary. Judy was a Breast Cancer Survivor for 19 years.

Judy is survived by her husband Neal Pedro of Bloomington; three children Gregory Pedro (Terri) of Lawrence Co., Natalie Bowman (Rev. Greg) of Bedford, and Jill Ross (Joe) of Wabash, IN; six grandchildren Stephanie Pedro, Christine Pedro, Caleb Bowman, Reagan Bowman, Peyton Ross and Pvt. Joseph Neal Ross.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
