Elisha W. "Wick" Cantrill, 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away September 22, 2014, in his home. He was born in West Liberty, KY on August 12, 1930, to Robert and Jane (Smith) Cantrill. Wick was employed as a fork lift operator at F.A.G. Bearings.Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Barbara Cantrill and their children, Julie (Cantrill) Rabbitt and Laura Cantrill. Wick is also survived by his children, Leray Cantrill, Joseph Cantrill, Lorelie Cantrill and Melody (Cantrill) Nash from previous marriages; 8 grandchildren ranging in ages from 4 months to 42 years; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Marge Davis and Martha White; brother, Leo Cantrill. Wick is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.Wick spent his retired years traveling, wheelin' and dealin' throughout various flea markets and never lost his love for Bluegrass and Gospel music. After a long battle with cancer, Wick surrendered his life to his Savior, Jesus, and anticipated seeing Him face-to-face. Those he left behind will miss his jokes, his laughter and gift for storytelling, but take comfort in knowing that having received salvation, he can finally rest in his eternal home.There will be no funeral services.
