Surviving besides her husband and four children are ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Abe Roorda of Pella. Preceding her in death were six sisters and two brothers.

She was a kind and loving mother, patient in her suffering, longing to be with her Saviour, always manifesting courage and kindness and devotion to her family and friends.

Her weary hours and days of pain
Her troubled nights are past
And in our aching hearts we know
She has found sweet rest at last
